Art

Josh has been working on this mug the past few weeks in his art class. I've loved watching his excitement about seeing it come out of the kiln. After all his hard work, he decided he wanted to give it to Daddy. Can't you just see Jim walking into a meeting proudly holding his new mug!! I'm not sure that it will hold water...but I think it is the best mug ever! :)

Auntie

My sister came to town for the weekend! It was a short but precious time with her. What a blessing to have her here and show her what life is like for us in Pasadena. Thank you for coming Kirst. We love you Auntie!

Joshua Tree

We went camping at Joshua Tree this weekend with a bunch of friends. I wish these pictures showed more of what it looked like. It felt a little bit like we landed on a different planet. Lots of cool rock formations and dr. seuss looking trees! What a treat to camp and play with friends.

Fishing in California

A few weekends ago, we took the boys fishing. Micah loved touching the fish and helping daddy. Josh loved forging his way across the river. The fish were small...but they were rainbow trout caught on a dry fly!

Potty Training

Micah is potty trained!!! With the exception of those moments when he gets lost in play and forgets...

We made it a day full of celebrations. With mini-parties when he went tinkle in the potty. His favorite thing was calling Elmo (thanks Will Burger) and telling him the good news!
