First Day of Kindergarten

Well, today was a big day! Josh had his first day of kindergarten! His teacher seems wonderful and I trust he will be in good hands. He has already started making some friends and is excited to go again tomorrow. His highlight from today was "cool down" time when the teacher shuts off the lights, puts a song on and everyone rests on the ABC rug to cool off (I guess from running around outside). It's hard to believe that he is old enough to be in kindergarten. I'll miss having him around all the time. He is such a great kid!

High Dive

I'm discovering as I get older, I like heights less and less. Josh on the other hand seemed to embrace them this week. He loved going off the high dive!

On the Wall

Josh got to go rock climbing while we were at camp. He loved it! He's a good little climber.

Pondy

We just got back from a week at Mt. Hermon's Ponderosa (Pondy) Camp. Jim spoke to the junior high kids but we got to tag-along and enjoy being at camp. It was an amazing week! A lot of life happens in the six days that everyone is there. I felt so thankful that Josh and Micah got to have a taste of what it's like to go to camp. There's nothing like it. I wish every kid could go to camp.

Picking Berries

We just discovered there is a little organic farm right by our house! They have a farmers market on the property that is open everyday and they also let you go out in their fields and pick your own berries! We love it! The raspberries are so yummy!

Making Cookies

When it came time to put the eggs into our cookie batter Micah said, "Mama, can I hatch the eggs?" He makes me smile!
