Still Here

We are still here! Yikes! My last post was in March. Where has the time gone? Our computer crashed a few months ago, and I'm just now getting our pictures up and running. Some highlights from the past few months have been visits from my mom and grandpa, my sister, friends from Pasadena, the Filkins, Allie, and Brooke and Nolan Lee. Josh finished his first year of Elementary School. Micah learned to swim. Yosemite. Summer Camp with the High School Kids at Woodleaf. Picking organic strawberries with the ocean in the background. The smell of California in the Spring and Summer. Hiking and running in the near by mountains. Trips to the beach. Napa. Pirates, Knights and Ships made out of huge cardboard boxes. I'll try to post a few pictures...

In Daddy's Arms

Ever since Micah was an infant he's spent time resting in Jim's arms. Many a morning Micah can be found having his "Daddy Time" before the day starts. He leans back into the safety of one who loves him and rests. I pray Micah will learn that no matter how big he gets, he can always lean back into the safety of his Heavenly Father and find rest.

Filoli

While Momo and Bapa were here we took a trip to Filoli, a historical house out in the countryside. (It got it's name by taking the first two letters of the words FIGHT, LOVE and LIVE. Fight injustice, love mankind and live a good life.) We toured the house and played around in the gardens. The tulips and daffodils were in full bloom!

Happy Birthday Micah!

Micah turned four last week! It was extra special to have Momo and Bapa here for the celebration! Happy Birthday little guy. We sure do love you!

Momo and Bapa

Jim's parents came out to visit us last week. We loved sharing what life is like for us here and getting to spend treasured time with them. Thank you for coming! We love you!
