Four and A HALF

When we asked Micah to put on his pants the other day, he burst out in tears saying, "You don't understand Mom! Those pants are size 4. I just turned 4 1/2 yesterday. I can't wear those pants anymore!!" Imagine if all our sizes were dictated by our age.

Fun

Jim had to leave town a couple of weeks ago. While he was away, he found some really cheap light sabers that glow in the dark. When he got home he surprised Josh and Micah with them out in the backyard. What a fun dad!

Mmmm

Cinnamon rolls are one of Jim's favorite things in the whole world. He is always on the lookout for the bakery with the best cinnamon rolls. We have a dear friend back in Colorado who used to bake Jim a batch for his birthday each year. (Jim would shamelessly hint his birthday was coming.) Nothing can top Janelle S. Cinnamon Rolls! Ever since we moved, I've been trying to find a good cinnamon roll recipe. I think I may have finally found it.

Into The Winds

The Wind River Ranges - one of Jim's favorite places. This summer he hiked in with 3 treasured friends to spend a week fishing, hiking and playing together. They hiked over 40 miles with 40 pound packs. The mosquitoes were thick. Lot's of fish were caught, memories made and I have the feeling they all came back feeling exhausted but restored. What a blessing.
