On our way to the beach with my mom, we stopped at Harley Farms. They are known for their award winning goat cheese. I loved the rustic feel and sense of simplicity. The cheese was yummy too!

A Living Roof
My mom came for a visit this past week. We had a great time touring some familiar spots and exploring some new ones. We took a trip to the Academy of Science in San Francisco where they have a 2.5 acre"Living Roof". These pictures were taken standing on the roof. Doesn't it look like a landscape from another world?

Treasure Hunt
Jim and I took the boys on a treasure hunt Friday night. They had a little map they had to follow to find the Pirate's Booty. The boys dressed for the occasion - complete with drawing on their faces. Micah insisted on wearing last year's Halloween costume (which is way too small). I guess he was a Superman Pirate!

I Will Dance Before The Lord
My sister captured this beautiful picture of my neice at the beach. I loved that Britta was dancing as though no one but the Lord was there. In that moment she seemed to hold such a childlike freedom. I pray we can all dance before God with that same kind of freedom, knowing He takes us as we are.
