Lego Party

I love cake -especially with blue frosting.

After changing his mind about 1000 times...Micah settled on a Lego theme for his 5th Birthday Party. We invited a few of his friends over and played games with Legos, built Legos and ate Lego cake. Micah LOVED it. Such fun to watch him taking it all in and thoroughly enjoying himself.

Glittering

We have been talking a lot lately about helping take care of the earth God created. Yesterday, when Micah placed a piece of trash into the trashcan he said, "Mom, I didn't glitter!"

Life With Boys

We've been getting a lot of rain lately. The worms are out. Micah loves worms. He loves them so much that he had a meltdown coming home from school the other day when I wouldn't let him crawl under a car to rescue a worm. This one, however, he did rescue and then rushed home to build a new home for it.

Stanford Saplingathlon

Josh and Micah participated in the Stanford Saplingathlon today. It was their first duathlon. I loved watching their faces throughout the event - concentration, determination, amazement, delight and celebration. They felt so accomplished just participating! So fun!
